The Department of 沟通 offers four majors, 四个未成年人, and two certifications that prepare students for a variety of careers interacting with various forms of media.

A student majoring in international communication must complete the major core requirements for a total of 63-67 hours (plus cognates), the 通识课程, and all baccalaureate degree requirements.

Strategic 沟通, BA
A student majoring in strategic communication must complete the major core requirements for a total of 60 hours (plus cognates), the 通识课程, and all baccalaureate degree requirements.

音乐制作，BMUS
学生 majoring in the interdisciplinary major of music 生产 must complete a minimum of 91 quarter hours with 46 quarter hours in music and 45 quarter hours in communication. 除了, students must complete the cognates, 通识课程, and baccalaureate degree requirements.

Pre-Speech Language Pathology, AS
学生 completing the following core curriculum and the AS general studies requirements will be awarded an AS degree in Pre-Speech Language Pathology. This degree will help prepare the student for admission to Speech-Language Pathology at Loma Linda University and may also apply to other professional programs.

The drama program gives students exposure to acting, 表演, 导演, 生产, 还有戏剧写作. A student minoring in drama must complete 30 quarter hours.

Speech 沟通 minor
A minor in speech communication will give students the essential skills of interpersonal and nonverbal communication. Small group communication, and persuasive speech. A student minoring in speech communication must complete 30 quarter hours.
国际 沟通 minor
就像专业一样, the international communication minor is centered around multicultural communication and media. A minimum of one quarter must be spent studying abroad at a school through Adventist Colleges Abroad. A student minoring in international communication must complete 30 quarter hours.
Professional Writing Certificate
学生 seeking this certificate will gain practical skills to write successfully and effectively at a professional level across industries, in both print and digital formats. The certificate is open to degree-seeking students and non-degree-seeking students.
社交媒体 & Digital Marketing Certificate
学生 seeking this certificate will gain a practical understanding of how to use social media professionally and of how to conduct digital marketing campaigns. The certificate is open to both degree-seeking and non-degree-seeking students.
